"A Budget-Friendly Small Town"

Manhattan has its pros and cons. If you're looking for a Mayberry-esque vibe but still want access to Lincoln-Way district schools, it's definitely the town for you. Drawbacks are that some parts of town are showing their age and there's not a lot nearby in terms of major retail or food options.
