Je-Neir Elementary School

This is really a great school. The classes are small and the majority of the teachers truly love working with kids.

Unfortunately I am not a fan of this school for many reasons. If you are new coming in to the town or school district don't think you or your child will make friends. The school is less than stellar. I have a child with special educational needs. It seems she as a fourth grader will spend the majority of the time not working on assignments or things of value. She will color or socialize. The physical education teacher is a bully and no matter the age of your child will call him or her names and belittle that student. Also he wears expensive white shoes and will punish a student of they step on them by accident. The principal will not listen to problems that you may have with his school or staff. His famous like has been well if you don't like it go somewhere else. This is not a school of choice area. Your only other option would be to go private. The secretary is rude and comes off as cold. In forst grade the expect you to know your work and work independent. Teachers here do not believe in helping students nor helping them to strive. It's a huge disappointment and we will be moving because of the many issues we have had.
