Peotone High School

Going through some unfortunate changes. Poor leadership by school board and superintendent has lead to the loss of many fantastic teachers and administrators leaving through better opportunities or staff reductions.

This school specializes in one thing, not sports or academics, but it specializes in a very strong school enforced social heirarchy. The leaders of the school make sure their kids get the highest honors, especially spots on varsity sports or entrance into the valor victorian race even though they have no place there, but get there with a few newly created exceptions. They also make a clear effort to shine the spotlight on a few kids while leaving everyone else in the dark. If theres one thing you can expect from this school its inequality not from the students, but from the high administration. Better hope you have some connections because otherwise your kid will just be just another kid at the school.

They did nothing to prevent bullying. I would wait 20-25min in the lunch line, pay full price for a lunch, and they wouldn't give me the full lunch I payed for. I would be hungry all day. It was so COLD in the winter. and HOT in the summer. The parking lot dosent have security cameras, even though you pay $60 to use it. The only good part was the teachers
