Great home location. Awful COA

allakdk k
Homes are in a great location and most are in really good condition. Condo association is run poorly with extremely high fees. Fees only include lawn care, paint (some houses go years without being repainted even though we pay the fee), water, basic cable and supposedly a general maintenance but whatever I don't see $1000 worth of COA value out here. Current fees are $1000 a quarter starting April 1st. Prospectful residents are being put through an "interview" process and many of us residents are curious as to why people need to be interviewed to live here. Meetings have dropped in attendance dramatically because of resident dissatisfaction. Many of us feel it's pointless because the board is going to do whatever they want anyway. Large turnover in the board as most people do not hold office long and drop out because of the frustrations. Property management company was hired but unsuccessful. Still paying property owner, Kelly for clubhouse and pool that could have paid for itself several times over. Unless you have a lot of money to throw around, and don't mind being overrun by ridiculous amounts of regulations, I would recommend looking elsewhere. This place is a mess.
