Jaxport

About Jaxport

Jaxport is a unique neighborhood. It is reminiscent of a factory town like Detroit, but it's also very safe. It's made up of working-class families who make their living at the port authority, the airport, or at one of the many industrial facilities in the area. There's nothing fancy about this part of Jacksonville, but it has the tight-knit community feel of a place where you can count on your neighbors and friends. One of the best kept "secrets" of Jaxport is its ideal location right up against the St. John's River. Locals have exclusive access to the river for fishing, boating, and swimming.
