Kirkwood

The location of the neighborhood itself is fantastic. I am able to get to downtown, West Town, and Farragut in 10 minutes or less. The convenience to get to church, the grocery store, and parks is also great in this location. I have been encountered to not walk my dog in the road and to walk in people's yards so they don't have to slow down to go around me -- let it be noted that there are no sidewalks in this neighborhood. I have had cars speeding down into the neighborhood and demolish by garbage receptacle. The strict HOA also has its pros and cons. Pros include the lawn and neighborhood care. With full occupancy of the unit, the single car garage and driveway are occupied with cars. So my guests park in the street, not in the grass, to come visit. I have been reported and fined due to laziness of my neighbors to check the tires to see if their vehicles are in the grass. Each time not a single tire was in the grass. I have lived in numerous places in the Knoxville city area, and despite the great location and conveniency of the neighborhood, it has been my least favorite home to live in.
