Kissing Tree

We looked at every over-55 community in Texas, and Kissing Tree was at the top of both of our lists! We spoke with so many residents as we drove the area scoping it out and everyone we talked with loves the community. The pros are so numerous. Kissing Tree has the best amenities of all that we saw. The average age of residents at this time is 67, so it is more of a younger community and very active - to the extent one wants. It’s funny - the salesman told us that we would fit in at KT, and our parents would fit in at the subdivision in Georgetown, Tx. Ha! There are so many field trips to go on, and every kind of activity. But, the people make it feel like home here, we haven’t ran into even one grumpy person yet. Everyone loves it!

My husband and I have lived at Kissing Tree since May 2019 and have really enjoyed the entire experience from building to moving to living here. Their events are wonderful and we have enjoyed all the classes. Our neighbors have all been so great and we look forward to many years of wonderful living at KT. 5 STARS for sure!

We have been under contract for over a year and a half and just received another delay notice. Unfortunately the build process has been excruciating. We experienced the same events that Scott B. mentioned and more. I keep hearing things are getting better, but that has certainly not been our experience. I would honestly wait awhile to see if things improve before I could recommend buying here. You can see how enthusiastic we were by my previous posting. I am trying hard to keep the faith. We just hope the community is everything we anticipate it to be. I do have to mention, the vast majority of the people we have worked with are some of the finest people I have ever worked with. I will update on the community if our home is ever finished. Two stars because of the concept and great people.

My wife and I are excited about our numerous visits to Kissing Tree including playing one round of golf on their beautiful 18-hole course. We have not signed anything yet although we have an idea on our lot and home. We hope we don't experience similar problems as Scott B. has mentioned in his post. I hope Scott B. posts an update soon. We are also hopeful that KT will offer an incentive to buy. We missed out on the last one that expired in November. :(
