Great area

We like that Point Loma is close to downtown, but feels removed because of the separation from the harbor. Pretty laid back place. We also love taking our kids to dinner at the Corvette Diner in Liberty Station. If you have kids, or even if you don't, you have to go there!

Fun, laid back neighborhood

Great location for kids. Simple to navigate. I love how close it is to the airport, yet you never hear planes land or takeoff. It's also close to Cabrillo National Monument and several beaches where you can surf or watch the surfers catch a wave. It definitely has that classic California feel.
