My wife and I just moved in. We downsized after 40+ years in Naperville. We have only been here a week, but the people are friendly, the entire community is great, and we have had little or no issues with the home. We cannot see how anyone could be unhappy living in Lago Vista.

Lago Vista is a very nice place to live. The residents are very friendly and welcoming and the clubhouse is extremely nice. The floor plans are very open and make the homes feel larger than they actually are. The resale homes may be a better option because of new construction upgrade costs.
Just Visiting hit the nail on the head as the construction of these homes (for the price) simply suck! That pretty much also goes for any upgrades you decide to get such as carpeting, appliances, "low E" windows, etc. We replaced all our windows within 3 years of moving in.

I am not yet a resident but plan to visit this community in the next week for early 2016 residency. I cared for my wife at home for years as she fought Alzheimer's disease. I now must downsize dramatically from my 4000 sq. ft.

I have been a resident since 2006. I LOVE this community! The clubhouse is beautiful, and the community is quiet and peaceful. There is always something to do if you choose to join in, or enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of your own back yard!
