LakeRidge Falls

Information in article about community is in ERROR. I built my home there in 2004 and many others still had to be built. I had a paired villa and the square footage was 2105 (larger than the info for largest one). In fact there were nine like mine which was larger than all the single family home plans except one plan. I sold it in 2016, so I am pretty knowledgeable about this development I always found it to have a sound and financially secure association. Don't know what will be with the new clubhouse addition. In my many years there only two times did I find there to be standing room only and that was for the homeowners talent shows. Rest of the time the clubhouse was like a ghost town.

Very nice and pretty community with grounds that look like a resort. It may be hard to find a more scenic 55+ community with as many lakes around its grounds. However, amenity package is lacking for a 55+ community and resident activities are probably lower than most 55+ communities. Homes are getting older so factor in a little more maintenance than a newer home built in last five years. If you want a quiet community in a good location, Lakeridge is for you. If you want a new community or community with more 55+ activities and/or better amenity package, look at the new Del Webb Lakewood Ranch or Cascades up the street.

We're happy with Lakeridge. The people are really friendly and we enjoy lots of the card and game clubs like bridge and euchre. For us the location is nice being near town and close to our grandkids too.
