Lakes Of Mount Dora

Beautiful community. Wonderful people throughout the development. Although there is no staff social director, residents have formed dozens of clubs and activities. Downtown Mount Dora itself is a major reason to make MD your home.

This is NOT a resident friendly community. We have amazing amenities but the developer will not allow the pool or courts to be open full time and we must be supervised/babysat during the minimal opening hours. This is by far the worst run community I have ever lived in.

Wildlife is amazing the custom homes are beautiful however and were surprised to see ‘smoking’ tables in prime locations under the shade next to the pool. Mount Dora was great nice food options we will be back to visit the town I’m sure.

This is a wonderful place to live. There is a lot of things to do on the complex, bike, walk, exercise, play swim, have parties in the clubhouse. The residents are all very nice and friendly. When completed the Gated complex will be the best place to live. Lakes of Mount Dora has been selected as one of the best 55+ places to retire. Lakes of Mount Dora is two miles from Mount Dora downtown. Mount Dora has a lot of things to do as well. Just go to: what to do in Mount Dora.
