Convenient location, and like the residential feel of complex and residential feel off of HInt more than many others. Neighbors generally friendly and not much turnover, which says alot. People say hello and nice to walk through the complex, even in the evening. Nice clubhouse and pool. Management is ok and maintains community nicely. Driveways just redone and they keep up landscaping and fountains.

Nice community! Moved to Lakeside Villas 5 years ago after downsizing from a home in Wilmette. Very well-kept community and management only wants to keep the community maintained with a nice appearance which keeps our property value up compared to other townhome communities both in and out of Wheeling. I am glad that they will fine you if you leave your garbarge out beyond the normal reasonable time because it attracts animals or can end up blown on a neighbors lawn! Much nicer appearance than many other (even higher priced) communities! have never had an issue with management, homes are always maintained, as is the landscaping, pool, and common areas. People are friendly and enjoy walking the circle!

Outward appearance is pleasant, however, don’t live here. The neighbors will fight you over street parking even though they all have their own garages and driveways. And the association and its members will make it their ONLY job to look for “imperfections” in your homes appearance so they can continually fine you for anything that does not fit their “code”. Despite minding your own business they will continue to look for things to fine you for. It really is a miserable place to live and I’m grateful to have moved far far away from these people.
