Jones Lane Elementary School

I'm a student at JLES and I absolutely love, love, love, LOVE this school! This school is always improving along with it's students and the teachers actually care about your well being

There is a white parent clique at this school and they bully the administration through the PTA Leadership and the other parents through the rumor mill. These women have way too much time on there hands.

There are many excellent teachers at Jones Lane. The parents and PTA are very active and involved. If you have a typical student, you will be fine. But if your child has any special circumstances, you may be out of luck. Mrs. Sample can be very difficult to work with. She is not always interested in what is best for the student. The discipline policies at the school can be inconsistent and too punitive. They do not help the students learn from their mistakes and help them learn to do better.

Jones Lane is a smaller school than those in the nearby area. My son is starting Kindergarten there and they only have three classes as opposed to many nearby schools with six or seven. We couldn't be happier with his teacher, Ms. Xie. We are looking forward to a terrific hear at JLES.
