We have had an amazing experience at Marley elementary. My son loves going to school.

We love this school so far, it's our sons second year of school there and next year our other son will be starting Kindergarten. The teachers and Principal are great and have great communication with the parents

Overall, I am giving this school an average rating. I love the teachers. My kids have been lucky to have caring teachers. The only reason I'm giving it an average rating is because the first person you see when you walk through the doors is a very short tempered, rude lady at the front desk. I have never seen this woman be nice and respectful to anyone. Marley administrators and staff...please know that parents want to be actively engaged with their kids education. This is the first impression that we get when we walk through the door and it is not a good one. I've heard other parents complain and say that she's been at the school forever. THAT does not mean she can be rude and disrespectful to parents.

My son has high functioning autism, and attended this school from 1st-4th grade. His 1st grade year was fantastic. His teacher was wonderful, the special education staff were great, and the principal was outstanding. The years after that were a complete disaster. The school hired a new principal who I rarely saw her first year, and the special education staff changed. My son started getting physically assaulted, and the administration blamed it on my son "misreading" social cues despite videos showing otherwise. Things were getting so bad that I had to reach out to the superintendent due to the incompetency at Marley. Avoid this school at all costs. In addition, the tests scores have gone down tremendously since the new principal started. You can check out Marley's horrible rankings at schooldigger.com.
