This school should not be a consideration for you to send your children. The main reason is that from the first days of elementary school the teachers administrators and parent cliques are all at work making sure that their children are the ones who get the best education. If a child is poor or their parent had an outing with one of these people above it could put them forever in an outcast group- no matter how old- your child will be disregarded all the way to graduation. I am not exaggerating. The school board meets secretly to decide items before hearing the voices of the community. They will not change the way they vote no matter what evidence is brought to their attention. They do not have the best intentions of children in mind. The bottom line is money for them. They hired an (IMHO) unethical man as superintendent to slash away at teachers and that he did. Then they did not renew his contract Then they put in a new man whose father was a judge in town- keep the good ole boys in control- This man is a bully himself (IMHO) and his philosophy is that the ends justify the means- meaning he will do or say anything to gain power and to get what he wants. Horrible leadership.

There are some very dedicated teachers at Caro. But,care more about their sport they are coaching or their paycheck. The school board and superintendent do not put children first like they continually say they do. It all comes down to money.. Any creative person there is saved only by the creative imaginative teachers and there are only a hand full of them. The overall feeling there is "shut up, dress alike, join a sport, and let a few people have most of the control." If you don't you are soon to be on the "pooh pooh" list of kids who think they are the only ones who matter, parents who taught them too think that way, and a school system that is full of adults condoning their actions. Caro should strive for a balanced school system that cares about all kids not just wealthy or old family names. Favoriticism runs rampant.

There are much better schools. I only wish I would of went somewhere else. Dont beleave me. Just call colleges in the area. Ask there staff.. They can tell when a student comes from this district..
