Very poor and will get worse with overcrowding.

I am very displeased with North Farmington High School. There are more and more fights on a daily basis. Recently drugs were found in the school. A lot of my friends are taking their children out of this school. I can't understand why the fighting and drug use is going on when there is a Farmington Hills police officer stationed inside the school. The bullying is unreal. Don't send your child to this school.

North Farmington is an exceptional facility for learning. Our son is a sophomore and takes all honors classes. The administrative staff and teachers are all great communicators, easy to connect with, and each care a great deal for the well being of every student. We had opportunities to place our son in a private school, however after seeing his interaction with classmates and staff; retaining a straight "A" average, his ability to get involved in extracurricular activities, stay motivated during class, and be challenged daily; we would not ever suggest sending a student to any other school. We are thrilled to have a well-rounded learning institution in our backyard like North Farmington High School.

This school deteriorated with the leave of the old administration & staff. The recent additions to the administration & staff have attempted to install a tighter grip onto the students in seemingly all aspects of life and also attempted to construct a sense of structure that seems unnatural to any high school student. This leaves the students with much less room to breathe, as well as chokes them in the opportunities they are open to. The atmosphere at North has transformed from an institution of learning filled with smiles and success to an average school focused on just getting things done and raising test scores by force.
