Within minutes of walking into this school, you can tell that it is a great place to be. Every staff member greets you with a smile and a kind word. The school itself is a bright, cheerful , happy and welcoming place. I have 3 children who attend(ed) Springview and I honestly would not want to take them anywhere else! I would gladly put my children in the classroom of any teacher at that school. Those teachers are so dedicated, kind, creative, fair and caring. You can tell that they really love their students. The communication is wonderful. We receive a newsletter every week from the teachers (which is also posted on their websites) as well as a monthly newsletter from the principal. They have many fun after school activities too, like the Shark Shuffle (what kid wouldn't want to see their teacher out there bustin a move?), BINGO, movies, and so much more. I think Springview is an outstanding school. My husband and I have been very pleased with the education all of our kids receive there.

My son went to this school and he and other students had to tolerate violence in their classroom, and several students misbehaving much of the time. He said they couldn't get through a complete lesson at any time of the day. Please, choose any other school in Flushing other than this. I based my choice on the fact that they had STEM learning. However, there is only a select group that can participate. Also, all of the other reviews were wonderful, which was very misleading. I and other parents had to transfer our students to other schools in the district.
