The principal doesn't have a very good grip on the bullying issues or his special education requirements. This is just another job to him. He's nice but the school needs a better leader. They just want to push kids through and do nothing about bullying. The building has some great teachers but most the staff is the reason why the school is so bad. All this is allowed by the principal, Mr. Eric Kelly. Our son's education has regressed at the point he entered this building. They give us nothing to work on at home. He gets tons of 1's but they say he's doing great and gets his grade level work. This is unexceptable. We are most likely going back to homeschooling.... where he progressed and didn't get bullied and punched in the nose.

Northeast Elementary School is a excellent school with excellent teachers. My neice Cierra loves her teacher Mrs. N. Kalahar (hopefully I didn't butcher her last name) & its such a wonderful feeling to know that Northeast still has excellent teachers that want the kids to succeed. I went to this particular school as a child and I absolutely loved it!

I AM A PARENT OF TWO KIDS THAT GO TO NORTHEAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. ONE IS IN THIRD GRADE AND THE OTHER ONE IS IN KINAGARDEN I HAVE HAD MANY MANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS SCHOOL I WILL NOT HAVE MY KIDS GO TO THIS SCHOOL NEXT YEAR. IN FACT JUST LAST WEEK MY SON CAME HOME AND TOLD ME THAT WHEN HE WAS IN GYM CLASS THAT THE GYM CLASS TEACHER PUSHED ONE KID IN HIS CLASS AND THEN PUT HIS HANDS ON ANOTHER STUDENT THAT SENT THE STUDENT IN THE AIR AND I AND I SAID WELL WHY WOULD HE DO THAT AND MY SON SAID THAT THE TWO BOYS WERE PLAYING ON THE SCOOTER'S AND THEY RAN INTO EACH OTHER SO THE GYM TEACHER CAUGHT THEM AND PROCEED TO PUT HIS HANDS ON THE TWO BOYS. I WAS SO MAD AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE ISSUES WITH THE SCHOOL AND TEACHERS AND THE BUSSING . I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SENDING MY KIDS TO SCHOOL AND I WANT MY KIDS TO ENJOY GOING TO SCHOOL NOT FEAR OF GOING TO SCHOOL AND THIS REALLY UPSETS ME SO IM LOOKING TO SEND MY KIDS TO A GOOD SCHOOL WITH GREAT OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDING AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS.

One of the lower quality schools. 5 of my kids went here. I would not recommend to my worst enemy.
