I have ups and downs with the school. I have been very involved as a parent and would agree with many of the other comments about the school not being up to par for special education or with other special needs. The teachers here are absolutely remarkable. They do the best with what they are given and I could not ask for anything more. The teachers are great and keep you informed of what's going on in their classroom. As far as management with the school you are left to wonder what is going on and why. The communication is lacking in certain areas but there is always room for improvement no matter way you go.

This school is fine for A-typical students, and has many wonderful teachers. However, it is horrible for special education. It is riddled with poor communication problems between special education staff, and parents, has IEP noncompliance issues, and is ill equipped to give a majority of their special needs students proper support to access their education.

I would agree with the previous poster. This school is ill-prepared for anyone that is not A-typical. If the student is slow or advanced they have no idea or resources on how to handle them. They are pushed aside without any assistance. The management of the school is also very poor in its communication to the parents. If you child is hurt don't bother expecting a phone call.

This school is fine for your typical student. If you have a special ed student, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The teachers did their best, but the school is not equipped to handle a moderately cognitively disabled student. And that's all I'm going to say about it as my last two reviews that went into more detail were removed.
