School is very hard and challenging, it is not very easy to achieve A's or A+'s for that matter. School is very competitive with the students for grades and often times very stressful for the children. For academically gifted students, a class called "AR" or academic resource is offered for particularly gifted reading kids and honors and accelerated math for those who excel in math. The AR program is extremely challenging and takes up much time at home to do projects and such but is overall worth it because it teaches discipline. Be aware that if your child scores a B- or lower in any of the honors classes he/she will be put on probation to be put in the normal class if it happens again. Overall it is a very good and challenging school compared to most.

Excellent Middle School with very caring teachers. Principal is excellent and has high expectations for student behavior and achievement. Award winning educator that is highly visible and interacts well with children.

My family recently moved and I have been very disappointed in the quality of teachers. Most teachers have NO idea of what they are talking about. there is way to much busy work with no study hall of flex whatsoever. extracurricular activities are poor along with the music program . they do not offer orchestra, drama club, and many sports. For gifted students there is only advanced math and a dumb pointless class called "AR". they do not offer honors english. A disapointing school. Just look at the test scores
