Thornton Creek Elementary School

We have been at thorton Creek for three years, we have truly enjoyed our experience at the school. The interactions with teachers have always been very positive, with daily communication and weekly emails and pictures. I really like their approach to kindness and the “Leader in me” program. I have really enjoyed watching our girls thrive as young leaders while at Thornton Creek.

My youngest is currently a student at Thornton Creek. This is my third child to attend Thornton Creek. The school community as a whole works well together: the principal, teachers and parents. The school has a strong PTA and involved parents who support the teachers. I have been very happy and pleased with all the teachers my children have had. The leadership is strong and i think it shows in the whole cohesiveness of the school. I feel very fortunate that my child attends such a great school.

Disinterested staff, very impersonal and judgemental. Truly lacking any form of arts or anything outside of text books. Teachers and staff have no line of communication with parents and are wholly uninterested in allowing one to be established. A real and true disappointment.

Great school. Very good teachers who are very interested in every student's progress and work with parents to ensure continuity of education at home as well. Support staff is very courteous and most of the time have all the answers to questions for the parents of new students. Principal is accessible and sends out of regular communique to parents. Very happy with my child's overall progress in school.
