Around Mid-Westside
Small-to-mid-size single-story houses populate Mid-Westside. There are modern, low-rise condos that will eventually come to dominate the neighborhood to accommodate the rising number of healthcare professionals working at UF Shands.

Nightlife is kept to a minimum in Mid-Westside. Residents seeking out a more active vibe find their vices in either the Downtown Core and Riverside communities, or drive north on I-95 to the River City Marketplace to either see a movie or enjoy a night out with friends.
Drive to the Springfield neighborhood and find yourself amidst the historical structures that line its avenues. Head south to LaVilla and attend a concert at the Ritz Theater, where you can catch the finest in blues and jazz that Jacksonville has to offer.
