Mission Trace

The southwest suburbs of Houston have experienced a great deal of growth as homebuyers seeking suburban schools and new construction have moved further outside of the city into Fort Bend County. Mission Trace is an excellent example of why the area has grown so much. It offers an array of home sizes and features, a highly ranked school district, and a 20-30 minute drive to all of southwest Houston’s major attractions and employment hubs. Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD) administers to the public schools in the area. Holley Elementary and Hodges Bend Middle School are two miles from Mission Trace’s front entrance and George Bush High School is just under three miles away. Independent school rating services give FBISD high marks and place it in the top 10% of Texas school districts. There is no public transportation in the immediate area. Though Mission Trace residents have to rely on their cars to get around, there is plenty of shopping and entertainment very close by. Multitudes of grocery stores and other retail shops and services are within a five-mile radius of the community. Several large movie theaters and countless eateries are within a 10-mile radius. Mission Trace has its own swimming pool and playground which is convenient, but there are also quite a few community centers and parks in the area that include open-to-the-public pools, youth swim teams and other activities. The numerous youth sports programs in the area are managed by the local park districts or by private sports leagues. For a casual outing, the Houston Funplex is nearby featuring an arcade, bowling alley, carnival rides and a sports bar.
