Myers Park is home to one of Charlotte's hidden gems, an outdoor garden and bird sanctuary known as Wing Haven. Residents can spend a Sunday afternoon strolling through the grounds and admiring the wide range of flowers, plants and trees while also watching for local birds and other wildlife. Myers Park also offers great places for some Sunday shopping at historic Park Road Shopping Center or along Selwyn Avenue, which has several quaint boutiques and antique shops. Residents can also play tennis or a round of golf at Myers Park Country Club.
