The teachers and staff are very friendly and helpful! They also are very good with communication with the parents! I love this school!

My daughter has attended this school since kindergarten. She is now in second grade. We have never had a problem with any teachers or students. My whole family attended this school. Each one of them had a great experience and education. Can't say one bad word about AES. Great school, teachers, staff and students.

My children have been bullied and assaulted on school property, this has been going on for the last 5 years, nothing has been done. We have taken measures to stop our children from riding bus # 38, and had problems at every level of administration. The authority figures will not do anything to adhere to any anti bullying policies or actual assaults. Principal and vice principle have denied these events in a meeting with a superior from the county board of education present. They said they never contacted us about this event, when in fact I called immediately and started asking to speak to someone. They told us that they questioned other children on the bus and the kid himself had admitted to what happened. In one of the meetings they even had a sheriff from the county present and still deny it happened. They lied about the events and they tricked the kids into saying what they wanted to hear. One time my child was falsely accused of stealing a basketball, another child admitted to it when the ball was found at another house several months later. The school allowed my child to be questioned by police without our knowledge or consent. Another parent was there saw it and called us.

I agree with previous review about the teacher. The principal nor administration will do anything about her. My children constantly complain about being bored because they finish their work quickly and easily. We have had a few great teachers who go the extra mile but many are just doing the minimum required. I want my children challenged not simply passing.
