Valley Springs Middle

Valley Springs is a pretty good school with teachers that try their best to help students. Being a former student I would recommend that you at least try Valley Springs.

Valley Springs Middle is run by an administrator that has no respect for children that have different abilities. The test scores do not reflect an accurate account of teaching abilities or environment as the staff goes out of their way to move children of different abilities or backgrounds to other schools and programs within the county. When asked if staff could get extra training and handed resources to do so, he responded with "they're already trained" relying instead on the school police officer to handle any and all situations. It's arrogance at its finest.

First and foremost I want to thank Gregory Toole he has had to tolerate atrocious students that no human being should ever have to deal with.. But even through all that he saved my child's life literally.. He helped her when no one else at the school would as a parent no matter how many times you tell your kids they are an exceptional child they need to hear it from someone else.. My child did a complete turn around and grades rose and thoughts of hurting themselves faded away with his help.. I could never repay him for what he did I will be eternally indebted to him, but this school way better than Koontz that place is a nightmare for kids socially; it is part of why my children were damaged has taken years to repair what Koontz did to my children

As a parent, I have nothing but praise for the educational system in place at VSMS. My son has transformed from being a shy boy to one who exudes confidence. His grades have gone from average to AB honor roll. He's had some of the most influential teachers of his young life. The only negative comment is the food but that can easily be overcome by a bagged lunch from home. Well done all at VS.!
