Newton-Conover Middle

If a teacher says bullying is bad here, maybe you leaders need to become leaders instead of hiding behind your desks!

Administration at this school is lost and has been for some time. They have a new principal and assistant principal all the time and nothing is consistant here. I know principals move around but they only have one middle school and it's the worst run school in the county. I would blame those from above the principal since they are making these terrible decisions. From my experience with my children, there have good people there but not in the last 6 or 7 years. No wonder scores have plummeted. No leadership from Superintendent to assistant principals at middle school. Elementary and high schools are better but not in between. They are running on empty here. My overall is a 3 out of 10.

My child has only been attending this school for two months and already I had to make two reports to the school about my child getting bullied. This is unacceptable. I even went in to report the incident with my child and all they said was that my child has to be bullied at least 4 times before they can do a no contact contract with both the students or that I can get the police report done. Save your children from the bullying and put them in a different school. I would never recommend this school to any parent.

Newton-Conover Middle School teachers and staff are caring, student-centered professionals. It's an amazing school. As a STEM school, it offers an innovative, creative and fun environment for students to pursue their passions and prepare them for the future.
