Kings Creek School is AWESOME! I went to this school, myself, but my children were born in Colorado. We moved back to NC in 2013, and my daughter is in 8th grade at Kings Creek School (it is also a middle school). She hated school in Colorado, and missed many days. She loves Kings Creek and is on the A/B Honor Roll, in Junior Beta Club, and will be in Honor classes next year in high school. All because of Kings Creek School!

Kings Creek School is a very pleasant place to see and visit. It is set in a small community with rolling hills of pasture land, which gives such a since of peace and serenity. My Grand daughter has been a student for 2 years and is now in the 5th grade. The teachers have been exceptional and she has excelled. The school is always neat and clean and the staff is always very helpful. These things are very important too me as a grandparent. The two things that need to improve is the lunchroom, it is very small and in bad need of an upgrade. It is too bad that NC does not help fund public schools and needs such as this one. The second issue that I have encountered was the school counselor and their lack of concern for a student and their needs. Other than the two issues mentioned the school, teachers and staff have been wonderful and I am very happy that my Granddaughter is at Kings Creek.

I LOVE this school !!! We moved into this distrct a year and 1/2 ago from another school in the county. I have 2 children with disabilities and was concerned that the same issues would follow us to this school. the staff at KCS are open minded and highly qualifyed; they not only embrassed my children but encouraged them. I have seen a dramatic change in my children in the lastyear and 1/2; they went from begging me not to make them go to school to begging me to let them go to school during summer break. I wish that there was a way to get every school in my county to follow the example set by KCS when it comes to working with families of special needs children!
