I spent 30 mins in the office first thing in the morning before the start of the day when students were arriving waiting to speak to the principle to have my sons classes changed. During that time I was horrified at what I had seen! Between the interaction with students and teachers, the students throwing up gang signs to each other students, to cursing in front of the stuff and no one doing anything about it. I will be moving my child out of this school at all cost.

There is no consistent disciplinary action at this school and it shows......drugs in the bathrooms, constant fights, teachers being assaulted and absolutely no back-up from the administration. Teachers don't bother to show up for work and many of them have absolutely no business being in a classroom in the first place. Even sub teachers can't tolerate an entire day of this chaos. HOW is a teacher supposed to teach when the school is totally out of control??????

Middle school can be a tough time for children, but this school has figured out how to guide this age with positive encouragement along with academic rigor.

My daughters both went there. Unfortunately, we did not have the means to get them into a private school. All I can say is, Northeast is a nightmare! I can only think of two teachers in the past 5 years that actually were great teachers and cared about the kids. Bullying is NOT addressed...AT ALL, and there is an exceptional amount of bullying going on! My youngest was actually bullied by her gym and science teacher last year! Even when my husband and I go in to meet with teachers, counselors, administrators. They tell us what we want to hear and then they do absolutely nothing. The bathrooms (when the kids are allowed to use them, which isn't often) look like something you would see in a prison, all the mirrors have been removed. They treat the students more like inmates; not students. We are finally moving this summer, so this is the last year our family has to deal with this awful school.
