As a student it felt like the purpose of school was to score well on the state exams to improve the school’s reputation rather than to receive an education or learn how to think critically.

According to my child, this school has a larger drug presence than the faculty seems to be aware of and I think they are pretty aware since they enacted random drug tests for students. The student body is not inclusive to anyone that does not participate in a team sport or extracurricular. Team sports: think the movie "Varsity Blues" and this pretty much sums up Mooresville sports. Advice: Stop treating athletes like Gods, you aren't doing them any favors for the future. Fix the dress code. Hire more teachers. Focus on bullies.

this school needs to be closed down for good or it needs some new management it sucks

it's not the worst school but MHS focuses purely on athletics and not the benefits of the students. nothing it communicated well and all of the good teachers that are left want to leave because of how bad it's gotten. also, the construction workers staring at you walking to class isn't the best environment
