I am re-submitting my review as it got flagged due to me using a teacher's name. Our experience last year was incredible! My son was in 4th grade and was in a new (to the school) teacher's class. I was concerned because my son can be an acquired taste, so to speak, and has had issues with his teachers and classmates since he was in kindergarten. This year was unlike any he had ever had. I never thought my child would love school the way he did. He came home SMILING and laughing and wanted to go every day. This particular teacher he was placed with was honestly an angel sent from heaven. She was patient and loving. She loved our son as if he were hers. We were devastated when remote learning began because of the time he was missing being away from her. She called our son multiple times a week just to chat! Just to make sure he was okay. She took the time to form special relationships with all of her students and made them feel like they were the most important person in the world. I am so thankful that she is still in 4th grade and our son can see her on the days he is at school. She's even out at car line in the mornings so we can get a wave in. I am forever thankful that the administration hired this special, amazing and one-in-a million teacher. Woodland Heights ROCKS.

Excellent, we had a great experience as my son had reading difficulty and he was able to be successful after just one year following our move to Mooresville.

Average overall. Most of my children’s teachers were good. Nothing about the school knocked my socks off. Terrible experience with the EC department. My children have been to better schools in the area and this school has some room for growth in all areas.
