DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. This school is detrimentally dangerous and unsafe. Their are fights all the time and my daughter was a victim of these incidences. She had to fight two young men and then she was given an infraction and it wasn't even her fault. Then the teachers give out infractions and don't even notify parents that their child has been in trouble. Another child pulled my daughters hair out and again the teachers were no where to be found. All of this happened to my daughter within the two weeks of her getting transferred into the school. The teachers are a hit or miss because the same incident that happened with her fighting the two boys was watched by a so called responsible teacher. This is not the school for no child to attend and for me to be coming from out of town this has been the worst experience thus far and Wakefield Elementary is no better.

ok. ordinary. I haven't experienced any major negatives other than unclear and inconsistent syllabi and h/w communication with parents. All responsibility is left with students, making it hard for parents to f/u effectively.

I recently transferred from a horrible school to this one, and I am so happy here! At first it was overwhelming but now I actually enjoy going to school

My daughter goes to this school. It seems to be a wonderful community school. Her classroom load is a little heavy, more than she would like, but I take that as a GOOD sign. Most of the teachers seem to really care about educating the kids. I don't hear a lot about classroom drama, therefore, I would say teachers have control of the classroom and are able to educate. My daughter is maturing nicely and growing in positive ways under their watch. Not sure what more I can ask? Great Job !
