The school administration at Hopewell is amazing. They may be thought of as tough at times however they are always striving to help the students grow into respectful, hardworking, honest, educated children who take responsibility for themselves. I believe they also assist us parents in taking responsibility for our actions and our responsibilities in relation to our children's education and growth. I am not proud, I will admit it took the Assistant Principal having an honest discussion with me and my child to open my eyes and see that I was not supporting my children the best way I could or taking responsibility at home for my children's education and their actions/behaviors at school. Thank you to the Assistant Principal, Principal and all the teachers for helping me to help my children. This is a wonderful caring school and I hope it does not change with the new Principal coming in. I hope very much that the current Assistant Principal stays on for a long time. I want all of my children to have his guidance.

DO NOT SEND SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS HERE!. Just in case you didn't hear me do not under any circumstances send your special needs child to this school. They do not follow IP's they are verbally abusive to the special needs children when they start to struggle. And if your child happens to have some behavioral issues oh boy you better wait they do not know how to handle the exasperate the problems they do not care they have no compassion they have no feelings all they care about are test scores, and data. And if you think for one minute that you're going to go to the principal vice principal or anybody in a ministrative to get help when the teachers go Rogue think again they are even worse than the teachers they are rude they are ugly they do not know how to handle special needs kids and they will cause you all kinds of problems. They will set your child up to fail and they don't care at all. Don't move into this district you will regret it!

Most of the teachers are good, however the administration is a joke. My son has been bullied by the same child since he started at this school and nothing is ever done. Administration and some staff DO NOT respond to concerns or even just emails asking how students are doing. I’ll be pulling my children out and sending them to private school very soon.
