Everyone is entitled to their opinion. With that being said, I have found the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Barker to be dedicated, honest, involved, concerned, considerate, knowledgable, loving, and awesome. The students adore her, and so do I. I have found Mrs. Barker to be the best of the best. I have come across many CCSD employees, and administrators who should have been stripped of their position, and faced with disciplinary actions. Mrs. barker may not give you what you want, but best believe, she will make sure your child has what they need to succeed in every way. Thank God for Mrs. Barker!

This school is ridiculous!! The staff dont care and they complain especially the male answering the phones he will sit there and say ugh won't this phone ever stop ringing! I'm sorry but you are part of an admistratice office answering the phone is your duty. Also the assistant principal is a joke! She and the teachers don't have any great customer service skills therefore they don't know how to talk to parents or students. They will wait til the end if there is an issue when issues should be addressed at the very beginning. I would recommend a different school because this one is not about the students! Kids are the future and they seem to just intimidate them instead of helping them grow. It doesn't even really deserve a star. By the way it's a terrible neighborhood as well so I should have known it was a terrible school.

It's interesting to note that the people below who wrote that Hinman was the worst school by far, have hated all the schools their daughter attends because the schools get on them for not sending their daughter to school, or for not getting their daughter glasses, etc. It is because of parents like these who don't care about their child's education that some schools test scores are lower than the state or the nation.

This is by far the worse school my daughter has ever attended. This school is ran by bullies who care more about test scores and attendance than anything else. I see all these great reviews yet find myself looking over the test scores and how it compares nationaly and have to just shake my head. Yeah its a great school if you omit the national average. Even the state average for that matter. Thank God we are moving is my final thought.
