Mervin Iverson Elementary School

Teachers and staff are interested in student success and see parents as partners to that success. Respect at the school in general is very good among students and teachers.

Iverson is an amazing school. They have an awsome staff, great education, and also they have an activity called " Moving in the Morning", which focuses on Physical Education. It helps me a lot with my P.E standards and helps me with my bond with my friends. So thanks Iverson and to all the staff who have helped me through all those years I have went there.

My daughters have loved their time at Iverson. The school has a lot of very active parents and teachers. We have been pleased with the education they have received as well as the amount of homework provided to help them learn outside of the classroom. One of the best things about Iverson is their commitment to Physical Education. The PE teacher there, Ms. Lindall, is amazing! She hosts a "Moving in the Morning" activity each morning which gets my daughters excited to go to school. Most mornings there are 100+ kids participating. In addition to this they have had fitness nights where the whole family can come and learn new ways of exercising, ZUMBA fundraisers and terrific Field Days. This school is the epitome of the saying..."It takes a village to raise a child."
