One of the worst districts my children attended. We have been in three

Living in the district for 30+ years and raising 3 kids attending there I have had my own experiences some good some bad. I rate it low due to my experiences with faculty, administration and board members. It is a school in a farming community that spends money like the community (home owners) have it to give. It tries to keep up with the other Chester County districts which WERE farming and now all commercialized and HAVE the deep pockets to pick for funding. This district is worse due to it's low scores, all are below the state average!! Our property tax has increased 400% in less than 15 years due to building schools and buying property because they hired an outside firm to "GUESS" how many students would be coming into the area due to development. Guess what, nobody came. According to many in the area that attended school there in the 80's the amount of students has not increased nearly to what was estimated.

I have never truly considered dropping out until I started going to this school. The only kids who get to go on field trips are the kids in the agriculture department. The art kids were supposed to go to New York for a day but our trip, once again, was given to the agriculture kids. We havent had a field trip in a long time, yet the agriculture department goes on a trip practically every month.
