Pretty good school overall. Although there are some things that should be fixed (cough) the bathrooms. The learning environment is perfect for public education. The use of programs like Schoology and Google Docs really helps us adapt to a new 21st century learning environment. The Chromebooks are great but they're annoying to carry around and if you lose your charger, good luck. Other than that, I recommend enrolling here if you recently moved to Bensalem.

The drugs are off the hook. I moved from Philly thinking it would be better. No it's not at all! The hallways smell like smoke and it's just a overall bad school.

The administration, teachers and entire staff work together, create a fun, interesting, challenging learning environment and know their students. There are many clubs at this school which are nicely captured in an end-of year school yearbook. The children are growing up together with their fellow town neighbors, building a network that can last them a lifetime if they keep in touch and since technology is emphasized, this generation is very connected.

I attended the Christmas Choir performance late November 2013. As a new resident, I was appalled at the "chaos" in the cafeteria where it was held. No opening comments from the adminstration, constant talking and milling around, participation choir members were blowing kisses to friends, smacking lips while chewing gum while supposedly singing. There were no ending remarks and the kids just walked off. The new online homework site loses work constantly and creates missing assignments and is only corrected when the parent goes in to complain. No proactive work by the teacher after seeing an abnormal trend or a failing test. The children speak frequently about drug use and the availability of pot to purchase. I sit in the parking lot to pick my 8th grader up and am amazed at the lack of discipline and control that the school has over the children. The kids "allow" the administration to be "in charge". I cannot wait to leave this school and the PA school system after this school year. What a disappointment.
