We have had 3 kids go through Coopertown and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. The teachers are great and since it is a smaller school compared to the rest of the elementary schools in Havertown, there was a real sense of family.

Coopertown is an amazing school. The teaching staff, lead by the principal, truly care about the students and their success. They recognize that each child is unique and works well to make sure each child is challenged and attended to as needed. The parents work together to plan fun events for the children including a family picnic, spring carnival, talent show and more. My two kids love going to school at Coopertown.

The Haverford Township School District, as well as the teaching staff at Coopertown are wonderful. There is a little bit of a problem with some parents at Coopertown following the lead of the Principal in thinking they are a Main Line school and not part of Haverford Township School District which leads to elitism. The extra star will come when the Principal moves on and school/community spirit is restored. She doesn't even know who most of her students or parents are, nor does she seem to care who they are.In the three years my child has attended, the Principal has seemed only concerned with her own reputation.

I have a first grader in Coopertown and I'm thrilled with the curriculum and teaching staff. My son is excelling and his teacher is finding ways to continue to challenge him by providing additional assignments. The parents are very involved - back to school night and many other events are standing room only. Also, there is a new principal this year who seems energetic and driven to make the school even better than it is. We are thinking about moving but I don't want to leave Coopertown.
