They don't really show caring towards the students who may need it the most.

This is a school for the over acheiving student. Special Education is a joke; The district gets rid of most special education kids for 1-2 years and that gets them off of the hook.

Hmm so I'm a student and here's what I have to say: --there's not many windows. almost all classrooms don't have a window. you can go throughout the entire school day without even getting a look out the window. --no natural lighting, everything is artificial and the lights can get annoying without natural lighting --immature kids --air conditioned all day. so cold. wear a hoodie everyday is my recommendation. --english is the hardest, all the teachers are hard, at least for honors --honors classes are hard, except for honors world cultures, this class is a blow off class haha! --great variety of class options --long school days --i hate that i don't get to experience anything to do with the outside outdoors... once you walk in the doors say goodbye to the outdoors until the end of the day :) --teachers are okay, some are supportive and some are deffinately not --art classes are awesome --lockers are an ugly color, most people have locker buddies --the whole school is ugly and dreary colors inside my rating: 3/5 for sure... almost a 2

This school is o.k. My experience has been the punishment to students that have done something small, is way too punitive. Some kids are expelled so much, they miss half of the school year. The academics move excessively fast; only the better students can keep up. Special Education in this school district is a huge waste of time. It is better to either move or do not even bother to put your child in special education here.
