Charleroi Area Middle School

It's very disappointing that the faculty and adminstrative office can't see that our children need more access to technology and resources. Charleroi Area students come from poverty strictened, broken home or drug abusive families. They need more direction and guidence. The children are mostly good but have no family life. They seem to huddle around poor and harmful environments. We need to be able to teach these children but yet the School District ties our hands and refuses us proper funding. I've seen my collegues just stop caring and many of the children suffer from this. We need to do more, these children are not to far gone that they can't be saved.

The staff is't the best, the school is poor, the principle treats every student differnt , bad and good ways. You have to remeber the school is poor. Everybody says they wasted there money on a new stadium, and other stuff, but you have to look into it. It was falling apart it would cost more to deal with the stadium crubbling on people then building a new one. The staff cares about the kids but dosen't give up on the bad kids they just stop trying so hard because the know its not going to work. The good thing about the schoolis that they have school dances every couple of months $3 a ticket. We have events for holidays and sometimes we have a free class, I should say. Like a study hall. You get a mix a kids , good or bad or decent. Most of the kids dont have money to spend. Thats fine. Like every other school there's bullying, drama, ect. Your really not gonna find a school that dosen't have drama, bullying ect. if you do then thats a once in a millon lucky chance for you. Really right down to it its a poor average school with bad/good kids with problems. I would say see how your kids do at this school for a bit if your kids hate it go to another school. That simple. Try it out!!

Parents, You need to wake up! 12 years old and kissing in the halls. Children having babies. High heel shoes, make up,cell phones. Where is the staff? Look what is happening to these girls. They are not 18. They are our babies. Giving them what they want is not right. Are future is in their hands.
