Derry Area Senior High School

Our family’s experience with the school district is a good one. I believe that parents must be an active partner with the district to ensure a good outcome for children.

I have two children that went to the middle school and the high school. One really, really enjoyed her experience, was active in many activities, and graduated in the top 10% of the class. There were numerous enrichments for her at the school. The theater program, sports, sport's trainer program, foreign language, college-level couses, etc. My other daughter dislikes school in general, however, she was still well-received, particularly, in the swimming program and music department that always tried to increase/keep her participation. She still has good memories of teachers that showed an interest in her life. She finished up her last year via cyber school, and preferred this, but this also has a lot to do with her personality, as well.

Excellent School dedicated to it's students! Well balanced education allowing students to pursue Vocational (STEM) careers, college or military.
