Exton Elementary is simply extraordinary. Great schools are made by great leadership, teachers, staff and parent involvement. The school's principal, office staff, counselor, nurse, teachers and support staff are always smiling and supportive. The students PSSA scores (usually above 95% in reading, math and writing) acrss the board are a reflection of how well the teachers are. There are always parents volunteering and involved in activities. The school has great extra curricular actvities such as spanish club, band, orchaestra, after-school sports. There are always exciting events such as the Spring Fair, Movie Night, Monster Mash. The PTO hosts a lot of fundraising events and involved immensely in the school. If i could give th school ten stars, I would. Anyone who says otherwise is a racist. Any negative comment about the principal and counselor are based on race, because they are the only African American professionals in the school. They are well qualified. The principal has over 30 years experience not to mention a pleather of college degrees in education. The fact that they come from philadelphia is a non-factor. Exton is an amazing blue ribbon school!

Excellent school-wide activities & events (creative exposure, sports, gifted, student leadership opportunities, fairs, reading and math nights), fairly diverse student body, great test scores, strong principal and PTO (though I wish more parents would step up to help - even 1 hour a year helps!), focus on health/wellness. As with all public schools, I wish we could reward the great teachers and send the not-so-great packing, but overall, a safe and positive environment for my kids to learn, grow, make friends, and feel part of a community of people who care.
