When we first moved to this town, we thought from all of the good ratings, the school would stand up to par. Unfortunately as stated above, if you are not from this town, you are treated as an outsider, no matter how educated, and well rounded you are. There is a political system that has gone awry in place. The principal spends more time on her cell phone, gossiping rather than caring for the students. The staff is very rude to the children, and if you call them out for any reason you are treated poorly by the questioning staff who must not be familiar with HIPAA. The books are outdated, and somehow football and sports , seem to be more important than education. The taxes are quite high, and yet we still receive letters asking for donations to the school system, which will be spent carelessly on sports. The school system should start listening to the tax payer, and stop bullying those who correct them. This country was built on people standing up for their rights! Not rolling over!

Principal (Chad) does not approach problems in a calm manner. Was aggressive & used a threatening tone with me. Showed no compassion towards our situation ... child with special medical needs. The receptionist & Wendy both act standoffish & rude!!! ****Breach in medical confidentiality****

We had moved to the area because we were told the school system was great. It is however, just "so so". If you're not originally from this area people really could care less to talk to you, including the administration at this school. Some teachers are really good, others are quite lacking. It is incredibly difficult to find a really well rounded school. Old outdated books and outdated thoughts at times.....

When we first moved to Greencastle I absolutely LOVED this scohol and in fact they do work well with children on the spectrum , However this year my daughter has a teacher who has called the children in the class PIGS and has unfairly punished her and I can get no where with the principal as it truely seems he will stand by the teachers No matter what the situation. Even another studen came fwd on what was going on and still .... nothing was done or even taken seriouse. I know this school does have better teachers than this and I hope next year is better.
