West Hills Primary School

I would rate the school at a 7. My children have had a good experience at West hills. My main suggestion would be better communication between the parents and teachers. If my child is struggling I want to know right away so we can be working on that particular skill. Also if they are acting out, parents should be told immediately. My one son was having issues in class and the teacher didn’t tell me until a parent teacher conference. I knew something wasn’t right, you don’t just go from a sweet boy the teacher the year before loved having in her class to a disruptive child, hmmm. He had told me at home about this boy he was sitting next to that was always talking to him. I ask the teacher to move him away from the other child and problem solved. Also if my child is acting out, we are the kind of parents that want to know so we can talk with our child, get to the bottom of it and if discipline is needed then we will take things away at home.

my child started going to this school ,and has nothing but problems since . he has been picked on by students , in school as well as the bus . when i finally had enough of him coming home in tears , i addressed the bus driver myself ... 2 days later , he was on a van to and from school with a right up ! looks like all they did was protect themselves instead of my child !! the principle barely ever returns a phone call to address concerns !

My kids love the school and so do I. The acedemics are challenging and we rise to the challange
