My son started kindergarten last year art this school. His teacher was wonderful, loving and caring. She showed a great interest in her students that ensured their success. At the end of year, we found out that this teacher had been reassigned. (not by her choice). She was being replaced by the teacher who was their the prior year. She has been teaching K for seven years and was the best K teacher they had. So what do they do replace her. I was extremely disappointed. I was also not impressed with the leadership at the school. Instead of working with the parents if concerns were expressed, I felt they did not care what the parent had to say and at times attempted to bully and intimidate the parent.

I am a proud alumni of Walton Farm and I disagree with the negative comments said about my school. I went through this school as well as my older cousin and now I come back to volunteer on Olympic day because my two younger cousins now attend that school. I loved going to the book fairs, ice cream socials, may fairs and oldies nights. Many of the teachers there were the ones teaching when I attended so its not the teachers, they are wonderful and the principal is new but parents are mad because she cares a lot about the children's success

Comparing Walton Farm to the school we transferred from (also in the NP school district), Walton Farm lacks in school/teacher-parent communication. Also, the two teachers each of my children had seemed to be "phoning it in."

I have to disagree with the prior review. I have had children attending this school from the day it opened until now. It is clear that this was a good school in prior years, but has been under a black cloud recently. Weather it is because of the leadership or the lack of respect shown by the school board to the teachers is unclear. The wonderful activities you mentioned were sponsored by the Home and School Association and many will not return next year. I am not mad at the principal because she cares about the children's success. I think you should talk to the current parents to find out the real story
