Schuylkill Valley El School

The teachers are wonderful! I have 2 children who attended SVES from K - 4 and the 3rd is in third grade and they all have had teachers that have been kind, caring, outstanding role models. Most of these experiences my children will keep with them for the rest of their lives. These teachers are dedicated! The counselor and assistant principal are wonderful as well. They are supportive but firm and very very fair. The parental involvement is very impressive with so many parents very dedicated to making sure SVES is tops!

My children went to this school district in the 90's and it was horrible. The guidance councelor threw quitting papers in my son's face and called him a waste when he was diagnosed with dyslexia. Teachers pointly asked you IF YOU went to college to be asking them questions. Had three children graduate from this school district and was very glad when they did. No communication from principal to teachers when my daughter was sick and had to be hospitalized. One teacher actually accused me of neglect since she was so pale. No one told her my daughter had a bleeding disorder. She was shocked.
