Excellent! We moved to area due to the high quality of Education implemented by school district. Our children started Wissahickon from the beginning. This is our 1st year at Middle School. Teachers, administrators, medical and support staff has already exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommend moving and enrolling children in district.

I am a student here at WMS, and I think that the teachers and staff are very good at their job and inspiring others. We are using technology in the form of computers, and all the classrooms have Smartboards wired up. The teachers do a great job of teaching, but not being too boring. The Social Studies this year is great, since it's mostly "Project Based Learning." Occasionally, our Pod does activities, the latest one was a poetry reading. Also, the actual school has many fun "plans." A few days ago, we had Career Day, and volunteers came in to talk about their job. In all, the Wissahickon Middle School is a fun, bullying-free school with great teachers and fun-filled activities. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

There is a "coaches club" that runs this school. All of the athletic positions are selected by these coaches before middle school. Several coaches who are teachers in this school have the Varsity team picked out by 3rd or 4th grade and work with these children for many years before they are actually selected for a team. Then these student athletes are favored in the classroom.
