Neshannock Memorial El School

This is a wonderful school district! My children love it, as do I! The teachers are very professional, but also very friendly and accessible. You can tell they love the children and what they do! Communication with parents is excellent (especially in certain grades where daily emails are sent out covering the day's lessons, homework, and any upcoming tests/quizzes/projects). Any problems are handled right away. I highly recommend this school district!

I am shocked by the amount of incidents of verbal and physical bullying at the Elementary, and the JR-SR High Schools. The Elementary Guidance Counselor does everything she can to NOT address the issues. Situations are swept under the rug or the victims are blamed so that the school does not HAVE to abide by the state mandates re. bullying. Academics are not managed by the, mainly ABSENT, principal. The teachers lessons are all over the place and no one is on the same page. The Calibre of the school has absolutely lost is FORMERLY great reputation because of the administration.... the teachers will tell you the same. Most of the graduates, with the exception of a very few, go on to attend OPEN-ADMISSION colleges or low level state colleges or community 2 year programs. LOOK ELSEWHERE
