As a graduate of this school and a parent of two students there, I can only express how sad it is to see a school community and culture die slowly. Many of the top teachers are leaving or looking to get out due to internal problems. While the building is being beautified, paper and other resources are being cut back as well as classes being cut or overloaded. I rate this as average since the teachers still care and do the best they can with limited supplies and resources. The heart of the school is being cut out so the money can be spent on the shell and facade! It really hurts to see this happen. If my children were just starting at the high school, I would move.

We moved to this school district in the middle of the 2007 school year. Both my boys were in middle school at that time. It could have been a tough transition, but the principal, teachers and students were all welcoming. It's a safe school with involved teachers and parents. It's truly an All American school!
