This is a tightly knit school with an active parent’s association, excellent diversity, and good and caring teachers. The principal is outstanding and is very involved. I believe he must have a photographic memory because he knows every child in that school (new arrivals and longstanding students). These qualities were extremely helpful to us , and made our transition to Greenfield much easier than I anticipated. When we moved to the area, we chose this school after doing lots of research. We have been very pleased so far with education our children have received and the overall school environment. Also, it is one of the few public schools in the area that offers Algebra in 8th grade for some students. My personal experience at the school does not match the Great Schools rating for race ethnicity test score differences. You may want to inquire about that for yourself with the principal or school counselor if you are considering this school. Overall, I highly recommend this school.

The negative comments below are from years ago. The principal is excellent and it seems the school is improving every year for the last decade, so of course test scores won't reflect the growth of this school for a few more years.

Great! Kids transfered to this school and I noticed an improvement in their studies. State exam scores improved and I noticed an overall improvement in writing abilities

This school promotes division and strife among students and faculty
